Law enforcement professionals from across King County, the WA State Troopers, and even the US Marshals Service showed up to take almost 100 financially disadvantaged kids shopping.
Every year, law enforcement professionals from across King County team up to help give up to 100 financially disadvantaged kids in the city of Woodinville a Christmas that is little merrier.
This annual Shop With A Cop program is one of the largest in the state, and is organized by the Woodinville Police Department and supported by Woodinville Fire & Rescue, the Woodinville Firefighters Benevolent Fund, the city’s chamber of commerce and the local school district.
We’re starting the fund raising for this year’s event, and are inviting you to join us in this worthy project by making a $5 donation.
Chip in $5!
Additionally, you can help raise money for this effort with gift cards from our generous supporters. How that works is, for every gift card you buy, the Benevolent Fund will get a donation as well. Contact us if you aren’t already taking part in this program as it is a great way to help the fund while getting a gift or two this season.
Last year’s Shop-with-a-cop in review:

Officers and volunteers help with wrapping up the items chosen by the kids.

Getting the presents for the first few kids checked out.

Getting a little something to remember a great day by.
